Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Security Specialist to join our team for a year-long contract role. The ideal candidate with 10+ years of experience in the field. The role requires working US hours while providing support to a European client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Application Security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and security risks within applications.
- Lead Threat Modelling activities to anticipate potential threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Perform Code Reviews to ensure adherence to security best practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the development and security teams to implement security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Application Security, Threat Modelling, and Code Reviews.
- Proven expertise in identifying and addressing security issues in applications.
- Strong understanding of common application security frameworks and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be based in the US and available to work US business hours.
