Job Description

Role: Mainframe Developer

Location: 3 times a week in Florham Park, NJ
Please make sure they can do an onsite interview, that is still up in the air

6 month contract to hire

Only people who can convert with no sponsorship

Must haves:
Cobol
JCLOR SQL OR CICD
VSAM OR DB2
MVS OR TSO OR ISPF
AGILE AND SCRUM
BMC Control-M

Job Description:

Must have experience to succeed in this role:

• 7-10 years of Mainframe COBOL programming experience

•6-8 years of experience in multiple data environments including DB2 and VSAM files

• 7-10 years of experience in JCL, SQL, CICS command level

• 6-8 years of Experience with MVS, TSO, ISPF

• Proficient with AGILE and SCRUM methodology and ability to work in a team environment

• Strong application debugging skills

• Must be able to work autonomously with minimum supervision

Nice to have:

• Proficient in ChangeMan, Control-M, SPUFI, QMF, CLISTs, REXX, INSYNCH UTILITIES

• Experience with Mainframe CICS REST Web Service

• Experience with Mainframe JSON and XML

• Experience with OmniPlus recordkeeping system
