Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Power Apps Engineer to lead a high-visibility project within our IT department
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing complex custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate, leveraging the standard Power Apps license model (not Premium licenses).
 
Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for performance and responsiveness.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Interface Design: Craft intuitive and user-friendly interfaces by adhering to best practices and design principles.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform meticulous testing and debugging to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of applications.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all applications and processes.
  • Customization: Customize and extend standard functionalities of Power Apps to meet specific business needs.
  • User Training: Train end-users on how to effectively use Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
 
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in developing custom applications and workflows using Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Training Experience: Experience in training end-users on Power Platform solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate) are a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Location: Prefer candidates local to the Cincinnati area, with availability to work in-office 3-4 days per week.
