Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics:  
Primarily looking for someone who can do a lot of data analysis, understand their current framework, review current processes.
Will be supporting BAU space plus active initiatives coming towards the end of the year/next year.
The team gets the data from Workday and builds the warehouse on top of it, so candidate should be interested in the HR process because that's their whole thing.
Looking for someone who is headstrong and ready for a user facing role that can work with both onshore and offshore teams.

Position Summary
Our organization is looking for a top-tier, senior-level Oracle Developer to join our team as a team lead. The selected individual will be responsible for mentoring and providing technical direction to a team of mostly offshore developers in the delivery of technology solutions to our HR business partners.

The Feature Lead ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes. This individual will lead feature delivery including developing complex ETL/models in data warehousing environment, involving technical design, development, testing, and migration of Oracle objects (spanning FTE, head count, Leadership reporting).

He/She must demonstrate excellent communication skills and critical thinking to ensure all assumptions, constraints, behaviors are well thought through. This is an individual contributor role who is also a team mentor, at times representing the team in status meetings and works with the Technology Manager to address skills' gaps and opportunities for improvement in team structure.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Participate in status meetings to track progress, resolve issues, articulate & mitigate risks and escalate concerns in a timely manner.
• Exemplifies and evangelizes great solution delivery management by minimizing technical debt, surpasses design, engineering, & organizational practices (unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocols), coding and quality, and exceeds security standards and Bank's change management requirements
• Demonstrates the development and implementation of enterprise data quality standards and data protection standards within the space
• sets the bar for team communications and interactions - is an excellent teammate to peers, influencing them in a postive direction
• Acts as a liaison for production activities/issues. Mentors the team on work breakdown and execution
• Oversees continuous improvement of database scalability & performance
• uses versioning tools such as GIT/Bit bucket
• sets up jobs using autosys for automation
• Advocates and advances modern application development & deployment – Agile solution delivery, Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery
• identifies data anomalies/data patterns in huge data sets

Required Skills
• HR Data Domain experience.
• Finance Data Domain experience (RDR Finance space).
• 6+ years Data Warehousing experience, including manipulation/ transformation of millions of rows with optimal methods
• 6+ years experience with traditional relational database management systems (Oracle) and SQL skills, including developing stored procedures, functions, and triggers in a Big Data environment
• 6+ years SQL & PL/SQL development experience with Oracle DBMS and VPD Security.
• Advanced-level analytical, debugging, and critical thinking skills.
• 6+ years using TOAD, Unix Shell Scripting, Autosys, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) concept, tools, and best practices
• Demonstrable risk identification skills
• Working knowledge of Java/ Mulesoft/ APIs

Desired Skills
• Computer Science/Software Engineering (or related technical) degree or equivalent experience in field
• Enterprise HR (or other highly sensitive) Data Domain experience
• Technology Development experience in Financial Services/Banking Industry
• Advanced experience in Unix Shell Scripts, Autosys, and TOAD for Oracle
• Working knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and other Big Data Analytics technologies
• Experience in Agile Scrum, DevOps, SAFe or Disciplined Agile ways of working & CI/CD Release Processes
• Expert in data regulation and exercises best practices in data management and governance
