Role :- Mongo DBA with AWS and Linux (Q1T-JOB-67)
Location :- Austin TX // Cupertino CA
 
 
Note: Day 1st onsite / Very long-term Contract / Minimum 3-5 round of interview will happen
  • Experience in design, installation & configuration multi node MongoDB sharded cluster &replica sets on Linux Platforms.
  • Adding / removing replica and shard nodes in Mongodb Cluster as needed.
  • Good knowledge of a shard key and making sure of even distribution of data across multiple shards.
  • Converted replicaset to sharded cluster because of data size growth and better query rate planning.
  • Knowledge on Upgrade/migrations of repicaSet and Sharded cluster.
  • Deploying, migrating data, monitoring, analyzing, and tuning MongoDB.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ops Manager and Ops manager Upgrade.
  • Knowledge about Groups and Project in Ops Manager
  • Knowledge about Authentication and Authorisation and X509 authentication
  • Should have Configured SSL key files to implement security across all mongod instances.
  • Extensive knowledge of Mongo replication architecture and change stream.
  • Documenting MongoDB installation, operations, security, auditing multiple environments.
  • Should have knowledge about Query plan architecture and performance tuning at host and DB level.
  • Should have Knowledge of Range based sharding and Hash based sharding/ Indexing
  • Migration of Mongo cluster to AWS.
  • ReplicaSet/Shared Cluster buildExperience in upgrading Mongo clusters(ReplicaSet/Shared Cluster).
  • MongoDB scaling across data centers and an in-depth understanding of MongoDB HA strategies including replica sets and Shared Cluster.
  • Should have Worked on initial sync of replica set.
  • Should have Worked on Oplog Resize.
  • Read ticket and write ticket issues in MongoDB.
  • Worked on issue related to Slow Secondary Sync/Wired Tiger Cache Management.
  • Knowledge of Arbiter for High Availability.
  • Knowledge of High Oplog generation and tunning the Oplog size accordingly.
  • MongoDump and MongoRestore.
  • Read/Write concerns.
