Business Analyst(Property & Casualty (P&C))

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Oversight for TPA Clients & Unbundled Carriers: Manage data requirements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
2. Leadership Partner for Unbundled Carriers: Collaborate with PMA carrier relations managers to build and maintain strong relationships with unbundled carriers, with a focus on data.
3. Workers' Compensation & P&C Expertise: Apply domain knowledge to address data needs and challenges within these insurance sectors.
4. Compliance Reporting: Develop and implement compliance reporting mechanisms for carrier and unbundled carriers, ensuring regulatory adherence.
5. Claim Operations Support: Work with claim operations teams to identify data requirements and optimize data-driven decision-making.
6. IT Collaboration: Partner with IT teams to enhance data infrastructure and implement technology-driven solutions.
7. Client Relationship Management: Act as a liaison between PMA and TPA clients, understanding and addressing their data needs while fostering strong relationships.
Business Requirement Areas:
· Claim Data Distribution: Facilitate the flow of claim data from core systems.
· Custom Claim Data Integrations: Develop integrations as defined by carriers and TPAs.
· Onboarding/Offboarding Claims: Support data transitions between TPAs.
· Data Compliance Needs: Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry.
· Strong understanding of workers' compensation and P&C insurance principles.
· Expertise in compliance reporting for carrier and unbundled carriers.
· Familiarity with claim operations and associated data requirements.
· IT proficiency, including experience with BI tools, data modeling, and data architecture.
· Knowledge or experience with data catalog and data governance tools (e.g., OvalEdge).
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
