Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
❖ Basic understanding of ServiceNow platform with focus on ITSM and ITIL modules.
❖ Familiar with ServiceNow Admin fundamentals, leveraging the ServiceNow platform.
❖ Creating and executing automation test scripts as per the testing guidelines while following best practices for writing effective test cases.
❖ Working through the software testing lifecycle to support the testing of applications as the development progresses towards production .
❖ Good and clear understanding of business requirements and ability to translate that to test cases.
❖ Maintain good communication and interaction with stakeholders.
❖ Understanding of both functional and non-functional requirements.
❖ Record and document problems/issues in the application in accordance with the organization's issue management practices.
❖ Troubleshooting issues and problem solving, as necessary.
SKILLS
❖ Testing- best practices, Testing mindset, creating, managing & deploying effective test suites.
❖ Configure and manage ServiceNow ATF application.
❖ Practical experience creating and configuring ITIL and ITSM modules using the ServiceNow platform.
❖ Proficiency in programming language fundamentals like Java.
❖ Knowledge of testing automation frameworks like - Selenium, XPath, Postman, SOAPUI etc.
❖ Working knowledge of Behavior Driven (BDD) using Gherkin, Cucumber etc.
❖ High level understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.
❖ Well versed with Integration & system testing, Alpha/Beta testing, E2E
