Job Description
The ideal candidates will have a strong background in financial services and be proficient in building queries and creating visualizations. This role requires expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Big Query.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
- Create and manage Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize data insights.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis.
- Provide support for ad-hoc data requests and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services industry.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Big Query.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Domain expertise in Sanctions is highly preferred. If not, experience in Compliance, Risk, and/or Financial Crimes is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other data visualization tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
