Job Description
Summary:
- The IS Application Manager-Senior manages the activities of Applications Programming teams through subordinate supervisors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participates in strategic planning with IT management and with users.
- Oversees the planning, scheduling, assignment and monitoring of staff, budget and resources for the assigned area of responsibility.
- May manage complex or strategic projects.
- Maintains a high level of expertise related to the assigned function and currency in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends particularly as they apply to Huntington.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to lead data integrations and partner with architects on standards of the firm
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 10+ years of related experience
- 5+ years leading others in the development of software in a team environment.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Ability to take on issues and bring them to completion making sure a consistent delivery process is followed.
- Self-motivated and able to lead others.
- Able to work well under pressure when required
- Available for on-call production support as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ARGO Teller platform is a plus
- Agile certification (RTE, Scrum Master, Leading SAFe, etc)
- Financial Service experience
- Experience in manging end to end production of technical deliverables and documentation
- Excellent communication, design, documentation, analytical skills
