The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and modernizing WebLogic environments across on-premises and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) setups. This includes scripting with WLST, containerizing applications with Docker, managing deployments via Kubernetes, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer and optimize Oracle WebLogic Server environments in both on-prem and cloud (OCI) contexts.
• Perform WebLogic upgrades to the latest supported versions (e.g., 14.x).
• Automate WebLogic domain creation, configuration, and deployments using WLST (WebLogic Scripting Tool).
• Containerize WebLogic applications using Docker and orchestrate them via Kubernetes.
• Manage WebLogic domains using the WebLogic Kubernetes Operator, including domain resource configuration and lifecycle events.
• Design and implement secure, scalable Docker networking for clustered WebLogic environments.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on OCI and/or on-prem, including use of Kubernetes (OKE preferred).
