Job Description
Title: Java Developer
Location: New York, NY (LOCALS ONLY)
Duration: 6 months
Note: Needs to be onsite tomorrow for an interview at 10 AM/11AM EST at 1 Water St, New York, NY 10004.

Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.
- Develop and maintain backend components using Java (Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Debug and resolve technical issues reported by users or QA teams.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
- Maintain and improve existing systems for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Java development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ Years of expeirence.
- Solid understanding of Core Java concepts (OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, etc.).
- Experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
