We are seeking an experienced Golang / Angular Developer to join our development team supporting Bank of America. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend services built in Golang and front-end applications built using Angular, along with a deep understanding of application design, testing, and deployment in a collaborative Agile environment.
We are seeking an experienced Golang / Angular Developer to join our development team supporting Bank of America. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend services built in Golang and front-end applications built using Angular, along with a deep understanding of application design, testing, and deployment in a collaborative Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Golang for backend and Angular for frontend.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve system performance.
- Work within Agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Integrate APIs and services with front-end applications.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Golang for backend development.
- Solid experience with Angular (8+) for frontend development.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Financial services or banking industry experience.
