Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and release scalable APIs supporting container platform automation.
- Develop Kubernetes controllers, operators, and platform integration tools.
- Build automation for deployment, configuration, monitoring, and production operations.
- Implement high availability, failover, resiliency, and scalability patterns.
- Develop backend services using Go, Python, or Java.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Work with enterprise shared services, including IAM, secrets, networking, and other platform integrations.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed project and engineering teams.
- Develop automation tools and processes supporting development and production environments.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience building distributed enterprise platforms.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Hands-on experience developing scalable REST APIs and backend services.
- Experience with Kubernetes controllers, operators, or platform integrations.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Python, or Java; Go API development is highly preferred.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native development.
- Experience with high availability, failover, resiliency, monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
- Understanding of security and compliance practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with EKS, AKS, or GKE.
- Knowledge of GitOps, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar observability tools.
- Experience with service mesh and enterprise integrations.
- Exposure to SRE practices, SLOs, and resiliency engineering.
- Experience with event-driven technologies such as Kafka.
- Strong understanding of developer platforms and cloud-native tooling.
