Position: Oracle MICROS Simphony Service & Support Analyst
Location: 2-3 Days Hybrid | Miami, FL
Duration: 1+ Year
 
Job Summary:
The Service and Support Analyst is responsible for providing technical and operational support for Dining Services and Gift Shop retail systems, with a primary focus on the Simphony Point-of-Sale (POS) platform. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, resolves system issues promptly, and works closely with business stakeholders to enhance user experience and overall system performance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide frontline support for the Simphony POS system used in Dining Services and Gift Shops, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand operational requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues to vendors or internal T&D teams when necessary.
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and go-live support for new implementations or enhancements.
  • Deliver training and support to end users on system functionality and best practices.
  • Maintain documentation for support procedures, issue resolutions, and system configurations.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve service delivery and system integration.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience supporting POS systems, preferably Simphony or similar retail platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Simphony POS or other retail/payroll systems.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve user issues with a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience mentoring and guiding team members or consultants.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
