Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in healthcare technology to lead and drive complex IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, deep technical expertise, and a proven record of successfully delivering large-scale projects within organizations undergoing digital transformation. This role requires close collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects within healthcare environments, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Oversee project lifecycle including planning, resource allocation, risk management, execution, and delivery.
Partner effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, clinical operations, security, compliance, and vendor partners.
Ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational strategies and healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including status reports, communication plans, and project roadmaps.
Facilitate Agile or hybrid delivery processes, driving continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance tracking.
Anticipate roadblocks, propose solutions, and provide leadership to mitigate risks proactively.
Monitor technical dependencies and maintain project governance best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
20+ years of total project management experience with significant exposure to healthcare systems & workflows.
Proven experience managing technical enterprise projects such as EHR/EMR integrations, data migrations, infrastructure modernization, or cloud adoption initiatives.
Strong understanding of healthcare data privacy and compliance standards.
Advanced expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Jira, MS Project, Confluence, etc.
