The Principal Technical Consultant is the technical linchpin for D365 Sales implementations within the Healthcare Payer domain. You will lead the development of highly customized solutions that extend the out-of-the-box capabilities of Dynamics 365. This includes overseeing complex C#/.NET plugins, sophisticated JavaScript/TypeScript client-side logic, and high-volume data integrations with core Payer systems. You are the final arbiter of code quality, performance optimization, and technical compliance with HIPAA/HITRUST standards.

2. Technical Core Competencies

* Advanced Customization: Expert in writing C#/.NET Plugins, Custom Workflow Activities, and Custom APIs. Mastery of the D365 SDK and Web API.

* Client-Side Excellence: Professional-grade JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript development for sophisticated Form scripting, Ribbons, and Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls.

* Integration Architecture: Designing and building real-time and batch integrations using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions) to connect D365 with Payer "Source of Truth" systems (Claims, Enrollment, Providers).

* Dataverse & SQL: Deep understanding of the Dataverse storage architecture, indexing, and SQL-level optimization for high-volume Payer databases (often involving millions of member records).

3. Healthcare-Specific Technical Requirements

* PHI/PII Security Frameworks: Implementing field-level security, encryption at rest/transit, and audit logging to meet HIPAA/HITECH requirements.

* Interoperability Standards: Hands-on experience implementing FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and HL7 data structures within the Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare.

* Performance Tuning: Expertise in optimizing D365 for high-concurrency environments, such as during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) when system load spikes significantly.

4. Key Responsibilities

* Lead Developer / Mentor: Provide technical oversight and code reviews for a global team of developers, ensuring adherence to "Big 4" coding standards and SOLID principles.

* DevOps & ALM: Design and maintain the CI/CD pipeline (Azure DevOps) for automated deployments, solution layering, and version control across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

* Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the "Level 4" expert to resolve complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and "Heisenbugs" in the D365 environment.

* Strategic Prototyping: Build "Proof of Concepts" (POCs) for complex Payer requirements, such as custom Broker portals or complex Member eligibility calculators within CRM.

5. Experience & Qualifications

* The 15+ Year Journey: Must have evolved from a .NET Developer into a D365/Power Platform Architect, with a portfolio of 5+ enterprise-scale Payer or Financial Services implementations.

* Consulting Pedigree: Prior experience at Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, or PwC, demonstrating the ability to manage technical debt and rigorous documentation standards.

* Full Stack Proficiency: * Backend: C#, .NET Core, Web API, SQL.

o Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, React (for PCF), HTML/CSS.

o Cloud: Azure (Functions, Key Vault, App Insights, Logic Apps).

6. Education & Certifications

* Certifications: * Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).

o Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600).

o Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) – Highly Desirable.

* Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
