WORK MODEL   : Hybrid, up to 50% telecommute (at hiring manager discretion)
DURATION     : 30 Months
START DATE   : 03/02/2026
SCHEDULE     : Part-Time, ~37.5 hrs/week (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
INTERVIEW    : Webcasting (Camera Required)

ROLE SUMMARY
------------
Support and maintain the Department's hybrid security infrastructure by providing expert-level network administration, firewall engineering, and high-availability design in an enterprise environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
----------------
- Support DFS hybrid network security infrastructure
- Install, configure, and manage network security appliances in HA setups
- Patch, upgrade, and maintain firewall/security platforms
- Implement network changes for new initiatives and application needs
- Produce and maintain network diagrams, standards, policies, procedures
- Mentor staff and provide technical leadership

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERT LEVEL)

- 84 months experience administering Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls
- 84 months experience with Panorama and/or FortiManager
- 84 months experience designing and documenting enterprise networks
- 84 months experience with LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, switching, routing
- 84 months experience developing and deploying BGP routing solutions
