Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Grant Management Developer to support the implementation of a large-scale Salesforce Public Sector Grant Management solution for a state government client. The developer will be responsible for hands-on configuration, customization, integrations, and data migration support, working closely with Solution Architects, Technical Architects, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development & Configuration
- Develop and configure Salesforce solutions using:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Flows and Process Automation
- Implement Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and Grant Management functionality
- Customize objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflows
Grant Management Implementation
- Support end-to-end grant lifecycle processes including:
- Application intake and eligibility
- Award and program management
- Disbursement tracking
- Compliance and reporting
- Assist in configuring Nonprofit Cloud (MPC) or Public Sector data models as required
Integrations & Data Migration
- Build and support integrations with legacy and external systems using:
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Middleware tools (as applicable)
- Assist with data migration activities:
- Data mapping and transformation
- Data validation and reconciliation
- Support large-volume data loads and migration testing
Security & Compliance
- Implement role-based security, sharing rules, and permission sets
- Support compliance with government security and data access standards
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with Solution Architects and Technical Architects on design and implementation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives)
- Support unit testing, system testing, UAT fixes, and production deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Flows
- Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions and/or Grant Management
- Experience supporting data migration and system integrations
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (MPC)
- Prior experience on state or federal government projects
- Knowledge of grant management business processes
- Experience integrating Salesforce with legacy government systems
- Salesforce certifications:
- Platform Developer I or II
- Public Sector Solutions Accreditation (preferred)
