Job Description
Job Title: Lead Network Engineer
Location: San Diago, CA(Hybrid)
- Minimum of CCNP or higher is a plus to have
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure as a Network Engineer in a Cisco environment
- Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching Technologies for networks utilizing Cisco IOS
- Expertise in Cisco Wireless and wired networking
- Must have Cisco Client 2.3 or above experience
- Must have ACI experience
- Experience with virtualization is a plus to have
- Time management skills and have worked with projects
- Ability to work alone or in groups, managing multiple projects and finding solutions to keeping projects on track
- Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
- Experience working in network design and implementation, data centre routing switching, troubleshooting and operations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge and understanding of the following IT infrastructure technologies:
VMWare administration, including:
- Wireless Access experience
- Cisco Catalyst 9xxx experience is a requirement
- Certificate based authentication
- SDWAN and SDA experience
- Experience in policy based
- Experience doing production cut-overs in a sensitive environment formal change management experience
- Wired and Wireless troubleshooting expertise, specifically in Cisco
- Windows Operating System L2 & L3 support
- Device fingerprinting experience is a requirement
- Client 2.3 experience or above
- Cisco Client licensing experience
- ACI experience
- AV knowledge is ideal to have
- PowerShell scripting or of any Scripting language (Python, Perl, Bash, Shell, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with networking implementation and deployment
- Experience creating and maintaining high-availability systems.
- Demonstrated deep expertise in technical and security process design.
- Healthcare environment is highly preferred Background in Healthcare or other regulated industries will be considered
