Position Overview

Oceanary is seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Program / Project Manager (Engagement Manager) to lead enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations and digital transformation initiatives for clients in Houston, TX.

The ideal candidate will have strong PMP certification, deep ITSM expertise, experience with ServiceNow platform implementations, and exposure to IT infrastructure / hardware assessments. This role requires executive-level stakeholder engagement, delivery governance, and hands-on program leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end ServiceNow programs (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Asset Management, etc.)
  • Develop and manage program roadmaps, budgets, timelines, and resource plans
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects within a portfolio
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy and digital transformation goals
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and change control processes

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as primary client-facing Engagement Manager
  • Partner with C-level and IT leadership stakeholders
  • Conduct steering committee meetings and executive reporting
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure high CSAT

ServiceNow & ITSM Delivery

  • Lead ServiceNow ITSM implementations (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB)
  • Ensure ITIL best practices alignment
  • Coordinate functional and technical teams (developers, architects, BA’s)
  • Oversee integrations with enterprise systems

Hardware & Infrastructure Assessment

  • Conduct IT hardware and infrastructure assessments
  • Evaluate asset lifecycle, refresh cycles, and inventory accuracy
  • Align hardware assessments with CMDB and ServiceNow Asset Management
  • Provide modernization and optimization recommendations

Governance & Compliance

  • Establish PMO governance framework
  • Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall)
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and financial performance
  • Ensure regulatory and cybersecurity compliance standards are met
 

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience
  • 5+ years leading ServiceNow implementations
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – Required
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM and ITIL framework
  • Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and hardware assessments
  • Proven experience managing budgets $1M+ programs
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments (Energy preferred)
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
 

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM)
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification
  • Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy sector (Houston market)
  • Agile certification (SAFe, Scrum Master, etc.)
  • Experience managing global/offshore delivery teams
