Job Description
HIRING: Senior Automation Engineer (Accessibility Specialist)
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Deque Axe Monitor & Selenium for a high-impact project with United Airlines.
Role Details
Locations: Chicago, IL or Houston, TX (Hybrid: 1–2 days onsite)
Duration: 6 Months + Extensions
Experience: 8+ Years Total (5+ in Accessibility Automation)
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain scalable accessibility automation using Deque Axe Monitor.
Develop transactional scripts (Login, Search, Booking, Checkout).
Integrate accessibility validation into Selenium-based frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Azure).
Conduct testing aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA, ADA, Section 508, and EAA.
Analyze scan results, identify true defects, and provide code-level remediation guidance.
Required Qualifications
Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 and WAI-ARIA.
Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
Hands-on experience with Axe DevTools and Axe Monitor.
Proven experience in Selenium framework integration and enterprise automation.
Must be local to Chicago or Houston.
