Job Description:
The DevOps Engineer will work extensively with Amazon Web Services and modern DevOps tools to support CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, and infrastructure as code initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using EKS, ECS, API Gateway, and related services
Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting
Deploy product updates and implement integrations for internal and external customers
Monitor systems and applications, implementing alerting to ensure high availability and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and production issues
Modify and enhance existing software to improve performance, scalability, and compatibility
Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications
Implement DevOps best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization
Design and analyze system configurations, hardware layouts, and capacity requirements
Document processes, configurations, and operational procedures
Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud services, and industry trends
Key Skills:
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies
AWS services (EKS, ECS, API Gateway, CloudWatch)
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation
CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins)
Configuration management: Ansible, Packer
Monitoring and observability: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
Scripting: Python, Bash
Linux operating systems
Relational databases: SQL / PostgreSQL
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools
Understanding of computer hardware, software systems, and IT architectures
Knowledge of design techniques and principles used in system modeling and analysis
Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt
