Job Description
Role: Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Los Altos, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 month to start with potential to extend longer or hire to FTE
Local candidates only.
Hybrid Schedule:
Option 1: 4-day workweek (10-hour days) with Fridays off, at least 1 day onsite
Option 2: Standard workweek (4 days remote, at least 1 day onsite).
The hiring manager is usually onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Candidate must be local.
Must have: Automotive /Audio-Visual/Audio-Video manufacturer experience
Must have: PyTorch, VLM (Vision Language Model)
Client needs a Non-Junior, more seasoned ML engineer
PyTorch, computervision, training, fine-tune, data processing in addition to experience with auto maker industry.
Candidates also need LLM (large language model) experience, and a background on FSM or auto maker’s ML experience.
Strong proficiency in Python and software development best practices such as unit testing, documentation, code review, continuous integration, and dependency management.
Familiarity with data pipelines, model serving and optimization, cloud training, and dataset management.
An ability to move fast and switch between modes of rapid prototyping and robust implementation as required.
