Job Description
Job Title: LEAD Backend Java Developer
Location: CHICAGO, IL - NO RELOCATION - Hybrid 2x per week
Duration: 12 month contract w/ potential to extend
Mode of Interview: Assessment + Screening + IV with the team!

Required Skills:
- Strong Java 17
- Backend development is a MUST (75% or more backend on resume)
- RESTful web services
- AWS knowledge IAM, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API stack, SQS, SNS, KMS
- Slick SQL queries
- DevOps
- High Availability and Reliable Solutions
- 4+ years of lead experience
- Resume no more than 3 pages
Where have we been missing the mark LEAD EXPERIENCE (read carefully):
- Must have 4+ years of lead experience
- Leading a team + leading a project (not just one, needs BOTH)
- At least 1 year of leading 8 people
- Must have 1-2 bullet points in their resumes for each project they were a lead
- Include how many members + onshore and/or offshore
- Include HOW they lead the project (what were their responsibilities)
Things to note:
- Tenure must be 2+ years in last few roles
- Version of java must be listed on resume (java17+)
- Resume must be 3 pages or less
