Location: McLean or Richmond- Hybrid 3 days (Tuesday-Thursday)

Responsibilities:
Supporting internal identity platforms used across Capital One
Mode of Interview: 1hr Zoom, code review, code writing, and technical, may do an additional 30 min screen after
block of code and explain what is happening and then if they succeed then they will write the code (sharing screen), then technical around spring, microservices, and AWS
Timeline (review, interview, start) : ASAP
What are the top 3-5 skills
Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS
--(EC2, Fargate, ECS, Lambda, S3, ALB, VPC, security groups, Cloudwatch, Route 53)
UI/Angular are nice to have, production support experience, system design capability, Agile, mentor capabilities
Basic experience in- Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
Years of Experience: 5 years+
Types of background: Capital One experience
Degree Needed N/A-- preferred but not required

role: supporting existing application and BAU work (run operational workloads, manage platform functionality)

Responsible for design, development, and deployment in a cloud environment
collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers
write and review code
perform testing, troubleshooting
mentor junior team members if this arises
Sprint planning, standups, etc
