The Enterprise AI organization at Humana is driving innovation across Insurance and CenterWell business segments by building cutting-edge AI solutions that improve healthcare outcomes and user experiences.
We are looking for a Lead AI Product Designer (UX/UI) to collaborate with cross-functional teams and design intuitive, AI-powered experiences. This role will own end-to-end product design, contribute to AI product strategy, and help shape the future of AI-driven healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 AI Product Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to AI product areas by defining success metrics and aligning AI strategies with business goals
- Translate business problems into scalable AI use cases
- Drive AI solutions from concept → prototyping → validation
- Support development of GenAI applications, AI agents, conversational AI, and intelligent automation
🔹 Stakeholder & Business Collaboration
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and map processes
- Identify high-impact AI opportunities
- Communicate product strategy, progress, and business value clearly
🔹 Product Development & Delivery
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and data scientists
- Define product roadmaps and deliver against milestones
- Contribute to reusable frameworks, playbooks, and best practices
- Support A/B testing and iterative product improvements
🔹 Data, Research & Evaluation
- Analyze user research, business data, and market trends
- Build and contribute to AI model evaluation frameworks
- Benchmark AI platforms against enterprise requirements
🎨 Design & UX Leadership
- Lead end-to-end design for AI-powered applications
- Design intuitive UX for GenAI interfaces, dashboards, and automation tools
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Conduct design sprints, ideation workshops, and usability testing
- Build and maintain design systems, UI components, and UX patterns
- Apply human-centered design and design thinking methodologies
✅ Required Qualifications
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of industry experience
- At least 1+ year in Product Design / Product Management / AI Product roles
Product & Technical Skills
- Experience with AI/ML products in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with GenAI, conversational AI, or intelligent automation
- Knowledge of AI architectures (e.g., RAG, conversational AI)
- Experience with prompt engineering and AI agent frameworks
- Strong data analysis and decision-making skills
- Experience evaluating AI models and platforms
Design Skills
- Expertise in UX/UI design for AI-powered applications
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Miro
- Strong understanding of human-centered design principles
- Experience with data visualization
Strategy & Leadership
- Product strategy, roadmap planning, and prioritization
- Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong stakeholder communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Responsible AI
- Understanding of ethical AI principles
- Awareness of bias mitigation and responsible AI practices
