Job Description
Role Name – Java Tech Lead with Azure and Drools
Location - New Jersey (Whitehouse Station) Hybrid 3-4 days in office
Duration: 6+ months contract
ROLE_DESCRIPTION -
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• Migration/modernization of existing applications
• API integration with underwriting, policy, and external systems
• Strong understanding of underwriting/referral workflows (auto/loan)
• Enhancements on existing UI (Angular) + backend services
• Event-driven integrations (queues, async processing)
• Data mapping, transformation, and legacy system alignment
• Cloud deployment (Azure, AKS, CI/CD)
Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead migration and enhancement of underwriting referral platform
• Own integration design across underwriting, policy, and downstream systems
• Align legacy workflows to modern microservices architecture
• Drive UI/backend changes with minimal disruption
• Ensure stability, performance, and data integrity during migration
• Guide team, review code/design, and manage delivery
