Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cornerstone Galaxy Technical Lead to drive our Learning Management System (LMS) migration project. This critical role will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of transitioning our existing LMS to Cornerstone Galaxy. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Cornerstone Galaxy architecture, migration strategies, and best practices. While an understanding of AI/automation in the learning space is a plus, the primary focus for this role is on the successful technical leadership of the Cornerstone Galaxy migration.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical lead for the Cornerstone Galaxy migration project, working closely with an external System Integration (SI) partner, internal development teams, and business stakeholders.
- Lead discovery phases, technical design, and execution of the LMS migration.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure technical alignment and successful data transfer, configuration, and integration.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on Cornerstone Galaxy functionality, capabilities, and limitations.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address challenges and optimize the migration process.
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the migration.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and strategy for our learning technology ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an LMS Technical Architect, with specific expertise in Cornerstone Galaxy.
- Demonstrated experience with migrating from an existing LMS to Cornerstone Galaxy.
- Strong understanding of LMS architecture, data models, integrations, and configurations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions and align diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with SI partners on large-scale technology implementations.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and evolving project environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI, automation, or emerging learning technologies.
- Background in instructional design or content transformation.
