Overview:
Seeking a strategic Delivery Lead/Architect  to  drive end-to-end delivery of banking modernization initiatives. This is an onsite leadership role requiring a big-picture thinker with strong domain expertise in commercial lending and credit, combined with exceptional leadership and emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a product mindset, accountability for secure and reusable solutions, and the ability to stitch business objectives with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own delivery strategy and execution for enterprise banking platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term objectives.
  • Drive safe, secure, and reusable application delivery processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.
  • Maintain a product mindset—focus on outcomes, value creation, and customer experience rather than tasks.
  • Develop and communicate a big vision for lending and cards journeys, looking ahead to future technology and business needs.
  • Understand end-to-end lending and cards lifecycle, including vendor relationships, module synergies, overlaps, and technology advancements.
  • Create strategic roadmaps and journey diagrams that connect business objectives with technical solutions.
  • Evaluate pipeline priorities: decide what to implement now vs. later, justify decisions, and assess emerging technologies for future adoption.
  • Guide, coach, and train teams—foster collaboration across engineering, sales, and operations, advising on best practices and strategic priorities.
  • Track project deliveries against strategic objectives, ensuring measurable business impact.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technology, translating goals into actionable plans while maintaining a strategic lens.
  • Influence vendor strategy, module selection, and technology adoption to optimize delivery outcomes.
 
Required Skills & Attributes:
  • High Emotional Intelligence (EQ) to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, not just tactically—focus on vision, scalability, and long-term impact.
  • Strong domain knowledge in commercial lending, credit workflows, and banking operations.
  • Experience in end-to-end lending and cards journey, including vendor management and technology evaluation.
  • Ability to stitch business knowledge with technical expertise, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to guide, coach, and mentor teams across functions.
  • Strong decision-making skills for pipeline prioritization, resource allocation, and technology adoption.
  • Experience in enterprise delivery leadership, preferably in banking or financial services.
 
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives in banking.
  • Familiarity with modern architecture principles (microservices, APIs) and cloud technologies.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and security frameworks in financial services.
