Platform & infrastructure engineering experience: 4–6+ years supporting platform‑level infrastructure, including automated interaction with physical and cloud environments (Azure is most important)

Cloud, DevOps, and automation expertise: Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell), experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, Git/GitOps (e.g., ArgoCD), and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.

Containerization & runtime management: Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (including Rancher), managing cluster operations, ingress controllers (NGINX), TLS/certificate lifecycles, secrets management (e.g., Vault), and platform runtimes.

Observability, reliability, and resilience: Proven experience with monitoring and logging tools (Nagios, Splunk, ELK, Sysdig, Fluentd, Elasticsearch), plus designing and maintaining backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability strategies.

Strong systems and communication skills: Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, integrations, and deployment procedures, paired with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
