Position Overview
McKesson is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across Human Resources, Workforce Management, and Financial Systems. This role will drive strategic programs focused on workforce planning, financial forecasting, reporting modernization, and month-end close optimization.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing enterprise HR and Finance technology projects, with deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Planview, workforce management platforms, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
HR Workforce Management & Reporting Transformation
- Lead integration initiatives between Workforce Management (WFM) platforms such as Workday, UKG/Kronos, or SAP SuccessFactors and enterprise financial systems.
- Drive the development of workforce forecasting, headcount planning, and labor cost reporting solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT leadership to align workforce metrics with financial reporting and business objectives.
- Support workforce analytics, capacity planning, labor allocation, and human capital reporting initiatives.
Finance Systems & Month-End Close Optimization
- Lead projects focused on improving month-end close processes and financial reporting efficiency.
- Implement automation solutions that integrate workforce, labor cost, and utilization data into budgeting and forecasting systems.
- Improve financial forecasting accuracy through real-time reporting and analytics.
Portfolio & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and consulting organizations.
- Oversee project delivery, statement of work (SOW) execution, SLA compliance, and milestone tracking.
- Utilize Planview for portfolio governance, resource planning, project tracking, dependency management, and CapEx reporting.
- Provide executive-level reporting on project health, risks, budgets, and resource utilization.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 8+ years of Technical Project Management experience.
- Proven experience managing enterprise HR, Workforce Management, and Financial Systems projects.
- Strong background leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with executive stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT organizations.
Certifications
- Active PMP Certification (Mandatory).
- Equivalent certifications such as PgMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner may be considered.
Technical Skills
- Advanced experience with Planview for portfolio and resource management.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) including:
- Live Data Connections
- Data Modeling
- Story Creation and Executive Dashboards
- Workforce and Financial Reporting
- Experience with Workforce Management platforms:

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience in large enterprise environments.
- Strong vendor management and consulting partner oversight experience.
- Exposure to enterprise portfolio management and digital transformation programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
