• Company is seeking a Search Specialist to join our eCommerce Operations and Digital Marketing team.
• This is a full-time contract role. The focus of this role is the internal search experience for our B2B pharmaceutical distribution eCommerce platform.
• Reporting to the Search Supervisor, this individual will play a critical role in improving product discoverability, relevance and conversion through data-driven search optimization.
• You will help build and manage the ranking & relevancy rules of our platform’s Coveo search engine in order to deliver fast, relevant, personalized, and actionable search results to our B2B pharmaceutical customers.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize the rules, relevance algorithms and ML models of the site’s internal search engine to improve relevance of search results for B2B customers
• Analyze on-site search data to identify trends, optimization opportunities and actionable insights
• Collaborate with product, UX, data science, sales, content, assets, merchandising and marketing teams to refine search strategies
• Monitor search performance metrics to support a best-in-class search experience
• Assist with managing AI/ML-driven search models and automation tools
• Troubleshoot search-related issues and partner with technical teams for resolution
• Document search governance, operational workflows and best practices.
• Assist with search testing, QA and performance validation during enhancements or new feature launches
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Note:

• The scope of responsibilities for this position does not include optimizing for organic or paid search visibility in external search engines or AI chatbots.

Skills & Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience managing search relevance for B2B/B2C ecommerce sites
• Experience with Coveo, Endeca, SOLR, Reflektion, Sitecore, or similar enterprise search platforms preferred
• Strong analytical skills, ability to tell a story from the raw data with actionable insights
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Previous pharmaceutical or healthcare experience a plus.
