Job Description

• Role Descriptions:
  • Design, develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications.
  • Work with technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS.
  • Perform analysis, coding, testing, and debugging of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and production support.
  • Perform batch processing and online transaction processing enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts.
  • Follow SDLC processes including Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and compliance requirements.
• Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in:

    • COBOL programming
    • JCL (Job Control Language)
    • DB2 (SQL, stored procedures)
    • VSAM, CICS
  • Experience in mainframe debugging and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of batch processing and scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, CA7)
  • Understanding of z/OS environment
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
