Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Unicode Conversion Architect to lead and support SAP Unicode conversion initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Basis administration, SAP upgrades, Unicode conversions, and migration strategies across complex SAP landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP Unicode conversion projects.
- Assess existing SAP environments and define conversion strategy.
- Perform system analysis, planning, and execution using SAP tools such as SUM and DMO.
- Coordinate with Basis, Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
- Identify and resolve Unicode-related custom code and data issues.
- Develop cutover plans and support production go-live activities.
- Ensure system performance, stability, and compliance throughout the conversion process.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of SAP Basis experience.
- Hands-on experience with multiple SAP Unicode Conversion projects.
- Strong expertise in SAP SUM, DMO, SAP Upgrades, and Migrations.
- Experience with SAP ECC, BW, CRM, or S/4HANA environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or SAP HANA databases.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills
- SAP S/4HANA migration experience.
- OS/DB migration experience.
- SAP Solution Manager experience.
- SAP certification in Basis or related technologies.
Key Requirement: Proven experience architecting and leading SAP Unicode conversion projects from planning through production deployment.
