Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business requirements gathering, stakeholder interviews, and process analysis for enterprise HR and Payroll initiatives.
  • Analyze business processes and translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop detailed business, functional, and system specifications to support application enhancements and implementations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to design and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Support PeopleSoft Payroll, Benefits, and Workforce Administration (WFA) applications.
  • Participate in solution design, requirements traceability, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify business risks, recommend process improvements, and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Create process documentation, user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
  • Mentor junior Business Systems Analysts and provide guidance on best practices.
 
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience
  • 8+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft experience
  • Experience supporting PeopleSoft Payroll, Benefits, and/or Workforce Administration (WFA)
  • Experience with banking/direct deposit validation and working with banking vendors
  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and system analysis
  • Experience developing functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and process documentation
  • Experience supporting software implementations and enterprise application enhancements
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum
  • Experience planning and supporting system integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
 
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with enterprise HR and Payroll systems
  • UML, process modeling, and business architecture experience
  • Strong knowledge of software implementation and process improvement methodologies
