About the Role
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Lead to join our QA Engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain automated test suites for iOS and Android applications, drive quality across the mobile software delivery lifecycle, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers to ship high-quality releases with confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain mobile test automation frameworks and test suites for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Perform hands-on manual testing including exploratory, regression, functional, and smoke testing of mobile applications.
  • Create and manage test cases, test plans, and defect reports in JIRA, linking test executions to requirements via Xray.
  • Develop and extend no-code / low-code automation scripts using visual and flow-based automation tools.
  • Write and maintain Java-based test code for integration, API, and custom automation needs.
  • Configure and maintain API mocking environments using WireMock to support isolated test execution.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide QA estimates, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with developers to triage defects, reproduce issues, and validate fixes across build cycles.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration to enable automated test execution on every build.
  • Document test strategies, frameworks, and processes to support team knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in mobile test automation for iOS and/or Android applications, Services and Hybris.
  • Solid understanding of QA fundamentals: test strategy, test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies and the ability to apply exploratory testing techniques effectively.
  • Proficiency with JIRA for defect and test management, and Xray for test case authoring, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience with one or more no-code or low-code automation frameworks (e.g., Sofy.ai, Maestro, TestProject, Katalon, or similar).
  • Experience configuring and using WireMock for HTTP API mocking and service virtualization.
  • Working knowledge of Java for writing automation code, utilities, or custom test extensions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate test findings and status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with device farm solutions (cloud-based or self-hosted) for parallel test execution.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted test generation or intelligent test maintenance tooling.
  • Experience with GraphQL API testing or mocking.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) in the context of test infrastructure.
