Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior LabWare LIMS SME to lead the configuration, customization, and deployment of LabWare LIMS v8 in support of a major LIMS modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will work closely with laboratory, IT, and vendor teams to implement Contract Lab Template (CLT) and Enterprise Water Component Template (EWT) while ensuring regulatory compliance and seamless laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and implement LabWare LIMS modules for laboratory workflows
- Lead deployment of Contract Lab Template (CLT) and Enterprise Water Component Template (EWT)
- Integrate laboratory instruments using LabStation or middleware
- Develop and maintain Crystal Reports, dashboards, and analytical reports
- Configure quality management, control charting, and regulatory compliance features
- Perform unit testing, support UAT, troubleshoot issues, and assist with production deployment
- Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on LabWare LIMS administration, configuration, and customization
- Strong experience implementing LabWare LIMS v8
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Contract Lab Template (CLT)
- Enterprise Water Component Template (EWT)
- LIMS Basic Programming
- LabStation or similar middleware
- Crystal Reports
- Electronic Data Deliverables (EDD)
- Experience with automated sample scheduling, control charting, and inventory management modules
Preferred Skills
- LabWare LIMS Administration/Configuration Certification
- Water or wastewater laboratory industry experience
- Experience with Electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS)
- Experience optimizing LabWare for mobile devices and tablets
