Job Description
Senior .NET Application Support Engineer
We are looking for an experienced .NET Support Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance a diverse enterprise application portfolio. This role is ideal for a professional with strong application support expertise who enjoys troubleshooting production issues, working with legacy and modern Microsoft technologies, and delivering high-quality enhancements while ensuring application stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents across enterprise applications.
- Develop and implement permanent fixes with detailed root cause analysis.
- Enhance and maintain applications built with .NET, ASP.NET, and VB.NET.
- Support and extend SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises environments.
- Develop and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, indexes, and scheduled jobs.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to implement application enhancements.
- Utilize AI-assisted development practices for troubleshooting, documentation, and testing.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and recommend long-term improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and VB.NET
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server
- Experience supporting and developing SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate)
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance tuning
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management and change management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar work management tools
Experience supporting enterprise Microsoft application environments
