Job Description

Java Developer with Docker, MongoDB/CockroachDB

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, MongoDB/CockroachDB, Kafka, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications using modern Java technologies and cloud-native architectures.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, microservice architecture, REST APIs, CI/CD practices, Agile methodologies, database technologies, and application performance optimization.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development
• Strong experience with Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices
• Experience with Docker containerization
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Experience working with MongoDB and/or CockroachDB
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins
• Experience with SQL and relational databases like:
• Oracle
• PostgreSQL
• MySQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases:
• MongoDB
• Cassandra (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable Java code.
• Design and implement REST APIs for enterprise applications.
• Work with distributed systems and cloud-native application architectures.
• Develop and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Design and optimize database solutions using MongoDB/CockroachDB and relational databases.
• Implement Kafka-based messaging solutions for asynchronous communication.
• Analyze and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Apply Java best practices including:
• Object-oriented programming
• Design patterns
• Multithreading
• Concurrency concepts
• JVM optimization
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Write unit tests and implement automated testing frameworks.

Required Qualifications
