Job Description
Business Analyst – Pricing, IBOR & Trade Lifecycle with SWIFT Payments
 
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Capital Markets, IBOR/Benchmark Rates, Trade Lifecycle, Pricing, and SWIFT Payments. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support the implementation of trading and payment solutions across front, middle, and back-office operations.
 
Required Skills
8+ years of Business Analyst experience in Capital Markets or Investment Banking
Strong knowledge of Pricing, IBOR (LIBOR/SOFR transition), interest rate products, and benchmark rates
In-depth understanding of the Trade Lifecycle (Trade Capture, Confirmation, Settlement, Reconciliation, and Reporting)
Experience with SWIFT Payments (MT/MX messages), cross-border payments, and payment processing
Familiarity with Trade Finance, Treasury, or Payment Operations
Expertise in requirement gathering, BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, and gap analysis
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence
Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
Experience with UAT planning, test case preparation, and defect management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
 
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Collaborate with business users, technology teams, and vendors to deliver scalable solutions.
Analyze pricing models, benchmark rate changes (IBOR/SOFR), and trade processing workflows.
Support enhancements related to trade capture, settlement, and payment processing.
Document end-to-end business processes, data mappings, and workflow diagrams.
Coordinate UAT, validate business requirements, and support production deployments.
Identify process improvements and recommend automation opportunities.
Ensure compliance with banking, regulatory, and operational standards.
Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
 
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Treasury Systems
Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT messaging standards, and payment gateways
Exposure to trading platforms such as Murex, Calypso, Charles River, Summit, or similar
Understanding of financial products including FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Interest Rate Swaps
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
