Job Description
ETL (Informatica) Lead/Architect
We are seeking an experienced ETL (Informatica) Lead/Architect with 10+ years of experience in enterprise data integration, ETL architecture, data warehousing, and cloud data modernization. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IDMC, GCP, SQL, and enterprise databases.
The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable ETL/ELT solutions, leading data integration initiatives, optimizing data pipelines, and supporting cloud migration and modernization programs.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- 10+ years of experience in ETL/Data Integration and Data Warehousing
- Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter
- Experience with Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud)
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT architecture
- Strong SQL and database development skills
- Experience with:
- Oracle
- Microsoft SQL Server
- DB2
- Yellowbrick
- BigQuery
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
- Knowledge of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema
- Unix/Linux shell scripting
- Experience with scheduling tools
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and version control
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Develop enterprise data integration architecture and data migration strategies.
- Analyze source systems and develop efficient data mapping and transformation logic.
- Build and maintain data pipelines supporting data warehouses and analytics platforms.
- Optimize ETL performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Teams, DBAs, application teams, and other stakeholders.
- Implement data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, data discrepancies, and production issues.
- Create technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and implementation best practices.
- Lead code reviews, deployment planning, and ETL framework improvements.
- Support cloud migration and data modernization initiatives involving GCP and Informatica IDMC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise ETL/data integration projects.
- Strong understanding of on-premises to cloud migration.
- Experience modernizing Informatica PowerCenter workloads to IDMC/cloud platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and technical leadership skills.
