Job Description
Senior Project Manager – Finance Transformation
Focus: Finance Transformation / Business Transformation / PMO
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple finance transformation projects and workstreams.
- Develop, maintain, and track project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment across business functions.
- Lead project meetings and working sessions with clear agendas, objectives, and follow-up actions.
- Track project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and action items.
- Prepare concise and accurate executive-level project status reports and presentations.
- Communicate project progress, key milestones, risks, issues, and decisions to Directors, VPs, and senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions and drive alignment among business stakeholders.
- Monitor project deliverables and ensure commitments are completed on schedule.
- Support project governance and PMO processes.
- Identify opportunities for business process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple functional areas.
- Adapt to changing priorities and support the broader finance transformation program as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in project management and business transformation.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, governance, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Demonstrated experience managing senior business stakeholders, including Directors and VPs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong executive presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
- Experience preparing executive-level status reports and presentations.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and coordination experience.
- Ability to manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
