Job Description
Android Developer + AI Analytics
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with AI/ML and Analytics experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, modern Android frameworks, along with exposure to Machine Learning, AI integration, and mobile analytics.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Build modern Android applications using Android SDK, Jetpack, Jetpack Compose, and related frameworks.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into Android applications to deliver intelligent and personalized user experiences.
• Implement and integrate machine learning models using technologies such as TensorFlow Lite, ML Kit, ONNX, or similar frameworks.
• Integrate Generative AI/LLM APIs and AI-powered features into mobile applications when required.
• Develop REST API integrations and work with backend teams to consume and process application data.
• Implement Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, event tracking, user engagement, and application performance analytics.
• Analyze application usage data and recommend improvements to user experience and application performance.
• Optimize Android applications for performance, scalability, security, battery consumption, and reliability.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Backend Developers, Product Managers, and UX/UI teams.
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application stability using monitoring and crash analytics tools.
• Stay current with emerging Android, AI/ML, Generative AI, and mobile analytics technologies.
Required Skills
• Strong experience in Android application development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration in mobile applications.
• Experience with TensorFlow Lite, ML Kit, ONNX, or similar mobile AI/ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of Firebase Analytics / Google Analytics / Mobile Analytics.
• Understanding of application performance monitoring, crash analytics, and event tracking.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns such as MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience integrating Generative AI, LLMs, or AI APIs into Android applications.
• Machine Learning or Data Science project experience.
• Experience deploying ML models on mobile/edge devices.
• Knowledge of Python and basic ML concepts is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
