Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate ETL/ELT data pipelines across Bronze (Raw), Silver (Cleansed), and Gold (Curated) Medallion architectures.
- Perform source-to-target mapping, data quality checks, and complex business logic validation on Medicaid/MMIS datasets.
- Write advanced, multi-table SQL queries and Python scripts for automated data reconciliation, null checks, and referential integrity testing.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to develop comprehensive test plans and lead defect triage.
- Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot for test-case generation and SQL development (90%+ weekly usage required).
Key Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and modern database platforms such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong Python scripting skills for data validation and test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Medicaid/MMIS data migrations or healthcare datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
