Job Description
Job Summary
· We are seeking an experienced Salesforce AdvancementRM Consultant to support Salesforce administration, configuration, user administration, development, documentation, and application enhancements.
· The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the AdvancementRM managed application in Salesforce, formerly known as Affinaquest and now part of the Kindsight product portfolio. Experience with Blackthorn and/or Salesforce Experience Cloud, particularly for building donor portals, is also highly desirable.
· Candidates with experience working in a university, college, or nonprofit environment are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
· Administer and support Salesforce and the AdvancementRM managed application.
· Configure and maintain AdvancementRM functionality based on business requirements.
· Manage Salesforce users, roles, permissions, profiles, and access.
· Develop and implement Salesforce enhancements and configurations.
· Support application troubleshooting and issue resolution.
· Assist with Blackthorn and/or Experience Cloud configuration as needed.
· Support development of donor portal functionality using Experience Cloud.
· Create and maintain technical and functional documentation.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver appropriate Salesforce solutions.
· Provide ongoing application support and knowledge transfer.
· Maintain strong communication with business and technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
· Hands-on experience with Salesforce Administration.
· Experience with Salesforce User Administration.
· Salesforce development and configuration experience.
· Required experience with AdvancementRM in Salesforce.
· Familiarity with Affinaquest is highly relevant.
· Strong documentation experience.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently in a part-time remote consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Blackthorn.
· Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
· Experience building Donor Portals.
· Previous experience in a university, college, higher education, or nonprofit organization.
· Experience supporting advancement, fundraising, donor management, or related business processes.
