Project Overview
Cargill is implementing Embedded Warehouse Management (EWM) within SAP S/4HANA and is seeking a consultant with strong SAP WM/EWM expertise to support the effort.
Key objectives include:
- Establishing a foundational SAP warehouse management template that can be leveraged across additional warehouses and plants.
- Supporting an initial pilot warehouse implementation.
- Ensuring the system is configured correctly based on approved design solutions.
- Supporting the project from requirements gathering through go-live and UAT.
- Providing knowledge transfer and training to internal resources
Consultant Requirements
Functional Expertise
- Strong SAP Warehouse Management (WM) experience, specifically with Embedded EWM in S/4HANA.
- Focus is on basic EWM functionality, not advanced warehouse automation or advanced EWM capabilities.
- Experience configuring SAP and aligning solutions to business requirements.
- Ability to document current and future state processes.
Project Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering.
- Solution design support.
- SAP configuration.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Go-live preparation and support.
- Process documentation.
- Training and knowledge transfer to internal team members.
Soft Skills
- Strong communicator who can effectively work across both business and IT teams.
- Able to explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Capable of influencing process improvements and driving adoption of new ways of working.
- Sufficient seniority to serve as a trusted advisor and mentor.
Experience Profile
- Full lifecycle implementation experience is more important than total years of experience.
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant SAP WM/EWM experience is sufficient if the candidate has completed end-to-end implementations.
- Looking for someone hands-on who can contribute immediately within a defined project scope.
- This is a relatively short-term, focused implementation effort.

In this role, you will:

Assist with the strategy and technical planning of system/application technology in accordance with internal and external software compliance standards. Independently analyze business requirements and prepare detailed technical specifications to write applications and programs.
