Role Summary
Functional Oracle ERP Architect with strong expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud Financials to lead functional solution design, business process transformation, and architecture governance while collaborating with technical teams on integrations
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional solution architecture for Oracle ERP Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, AHCS, Projects).
- Translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.
- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and define future-state finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C).
- Design chart of accounts, enterprise structures, and financial data models.
- Review and govern FDDs, process flows, and end-to-end designs.
- Act as primary liaison between finance stakeholders and IT teams.
- Define integration requirements and collaborate on OIC-based solutions.
- Support testing, UAT, and deployment from a functional standpoint.
- Define and standardize end-to-end finance processes such as:
- Record-to-Report (R2R)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Project-to-Profit (P2P for Projects)
Governance
- Active participant in managing the project backlog, ensuring clarity and timely completion per project team SLAs.
- SLA: Understand the project's or application's specific SLAs, particularly regarding bug fixes, stakeholder response, and performance metrics.
- Code: Write code that is robust, scalable, and performant to prevent violations of performance and availability SLAs.
- Timely Resolution: Prioritize and address critical bugs or incidents per the SLA defined by the project team.
- Show and Tell: Prepare and conduct effective demonstrations of completed features or fixes, highlighting their value to the client. Whenever possible, provide visual evidence or working prototypes of completed work.
- Iterative Approach: Incorporate stakeholder feedback into subsequent development cycles, demonstrating responsiveness
