Technical Project Manager with AWS cloud engineering skills
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong AWS cloud engineering knowledge to lead and coordinate cloud technology projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical teams, cloud migration/modernization initiatives, and AWS infrastructure projects while being comfortable discussing technical solutions with engineers and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical projects involving AWS cloud infrastructure, migration, and modernization.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with AWS cloud engineers, DevOps teams, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables and drive timely resolution.
- Understand AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation/Terraform, and CloudWatch.
- Facilitate technical discussions and translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Ensure projects follow security, compliance, architecture, and operational standards.
- Manage vendor and third-party dependencies when required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in technical project management or IT project management.
- Hands-on or strong working knowledge of AWS cloud engineering and infrastructure.
- Experience managing cloud migration, infrastructure, DevOps, or application modernization projects.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar project management platforms.
