Platform Engineer (Linux | OpenShift | Kubernetes | Ansible)
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of IT experience with Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Linux Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Expertise in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Shell).
- Experience supporting production environments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain Linux-based enterprise platforms.
- Administer and support OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop automation using Ansible for server provisioning, configuration management, and patching.
- Monitor platform health, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement CI/CD automation for platform deployments.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, networking, and application teams.
- Manage platform upgrades, patches, and production releases.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and operational stability.
- Create operational documentation, runbooks, and automation standards.
