Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Architect to design and implement enterprise-scale business intelligence and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, Azure data services, SQL Server, and BI architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable Power BI enterprise solutions.
- Develop and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
- Create optimized star schema and dimensional data models.
- Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Build data transformation pipelines using Power Query / M.
- Implement Power BI Service, workspaces, apps, deployment pipelines, and gateways.
- Design and implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and enterprise security models.
- Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance and scalability.
- Establish Power BI governance, standards, deployment, and administration practices.
- Work with data engineering teams to design efficient data pipelines and analytical layers.
- Lead migration of legacy BI/reporting solutions to Power BI.
- Mentor Power BI developers and provide technical architecture guidance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into BI solutions.
Required Skills
- 14+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics.
- 5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service
- DAX
- Power Query / M
- Data Modeling
- Star Schema / Dimensional Modeling
- SQL
- Power BI Gateway
- Row-Level Security (RLS)
- Power BI Deployment Pipelines
- Strong experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with Power BI performance tuning and optimization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
